My paintings are a manifestation of an internal urge and hence to manifest it, I depicted a transitory journey of my life, that is “Dimension Beyond”. Through this journey I tried to depict the lowest to the highest plains in which the human soul unites with the cosmic soul. When we start going inward, we find our self-connected to an entirely different level. Here the observer and the observed becomes one. They merge into one another and become complete. This is a journey to the spiritual world through my paintings. The transparent fluid human forms in my painting are symbolic of body as image and body as home to soul. My spiritual journey started few years ago. I was travelling solo in mountains and that was the time when my work became more free and more mystical. The colour palette too became soothing and calming. These works are about the intimate relationship between the body and soul. Our soul is a little piece of divine and the whole process of painting for me is meeting and having a conversation with that divine.
