Nishikant Palande Nishikant Palande is a professional artist based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He graduated from Sir. J. J. School Of Arts. He is the owner of Thoughtline Design Studio. He has founded Kalaarambh, a non-profit organisation that works for the welfare of the artists. He works in various mediums like charcoal, watercolours, acrylics, Gouache etc. He is not only the master of the traditional medium but also has a good hold of the digital medium. He has worked on various market projects with esteemed brands like Tanishq, Absolut India, Set Max etc. He is interested in capturing the essence of humans through realistic portraits. He is enthusiastic about traveling and exploring different regions and while traveling he also tries to paint pleinair and capture the beauty of the place in his own artistic way. He has won several national as well as International Awards for his works. He has also been part of various exhibitions. He conducts workshops throughout India. He is interested in sharing the knowledge that he has collected through his experiences and is a popular mentor amongst the young Generation due to his contemporary teaching methods and relatable examples. He is currently associated with The Art Society India and Urban Sketchers Navi Mumbai and also conducts various art events.
