Damini Sargam is a figurative and contemporary artist based in Mumbai. Art has intrigued her since a young age which led her to pursue art as a profession. Damini has been greatly stirred by the ancient Indian culture , the great civilization called Bharat and it's deep spirituality which transpires in her art. Art for her is a way to express that which is beyond words. Painting is her way of worship. She is currently working on Bharat and Adhyatm series which portrays divinity and rich spirituality of our great civilization. Her work shows the physical world and transcendence together. Damini uses vibrant colors on a dynamic background to give an ethereal feel on the canvas. Collectors of her painting are from across the world- India, Germany, Switzerland etc. She has also conducted 1000+ painting workshops in Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore , New Delhi and Chennai with over 20000 participants.
Education : Bachelors in Mass Media (Specialization in Journalism) from Mumbai University
