Asit Kumar Sarkar

Asit Sarkar, who was born in Durgapur in 1962, completed his training at the Government College of Arts and Crafts in Kolkata in 1988. Asit has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions and is well-known for his elegant, gentle, and sensual handling of Radhas and Krishnas. He is renowned for his adaptability to a variety of formats and topics. He has skillfully handled abstracts and semi-abstracts. His writings give special consideration to women. They are compassionate, soulful beings that appeal to the audience and tug at their heartstrings. Even the most depressing of moods are lifted by their ability to spread love and happiness. The artist is willing to dream in new ways. His artistic brushstrokes carry out both the lyric and rhythm of music.
